The Mayor’s Commission on Literacy’s volunteer program engages adults interested in serving as Tutors, Tech Tutors, or Mentors to adult learners. Volunteers gain the opportunity to help a neighbor achieve their educational or professional goals while earning skills and experiences that can bolster their own resume.

Now, through an educational partnership between The Mayor’s Commission on Literacy Tutors and Drexel University Online, volunteers can now earn a top-ranked degree or certificate and be eligible for a 10-40% tuition discount when you enroll in one of Drexel’s distinguished online programs.

To be eligible for tuition discounts, volunteers must: 

*Note Basic Tutor Training is a prerequisite for all other trainings
