There are an estimated 550,000 adults in Philadelphia who lack the skills they need to sustain themselves and their families. The needs of this group of Philadelphians range from wanting to improve their English Language skills, enhance their academic skills in order to qualify for job training or college programs, or take the GED® or HiSET® exams. Community-based and non-profit agencies play a critical role in helping adult learners meet their learning goals. The Office of Adult Education supports existing and new programs by providing opportunities for professional development and networking. We are seeking a consultant to develop a program resource guide for adult literacy programs.
This is an independent contract position paying $4,800. Final product is due June 1, 2017.
