National Mentoring Month Part 3: Mentor Spotlight

1421943063298In honor of National Mentoring Month we are highlighting mentors that have worked to create lasting relationships with adult learners. Rachael Hayes is one such mentor, who after completing Mentor Training this past June has worked closely with her mentee.

Rachael provides support for her adult learner by providing resources for job training programs, and working with her to “define her short term educational and career goals.” Rachael describes her experience in the Mentor Training as both informational and beneficial. She has learned strategies for goal setting and time management that have become fundamental in her mentoring, as well as in her own professional work. Thank you, Rachael, for making a difference!
