Head for Success with the GED® to College Success Program

District 1199C Training and Upgrading Fund is recruiting students for their GED®  to College Success Program. This free program provides a direct route for students from the ages of 17-21 to earn their GED® and transition into an accredited college or university in a supportive and engaging environment.

Each student accepted will have the opportunity to experience intensive Fast Track GED® courses, life skills training, college and career prep, dynamic guest speakers and workshops, SEPTA Transpasses, financial incentives (both short term and long term), creative and performing arts, as well as continued tutoring and mentoring to reach their goals.

Potential candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • a Philadelphia Resident
  • WIA Eligible- must meet income guidelines
  • Ages 17-21
  • Able to commit Monday through Thursday 9:00a.m-3:30p.m
  • Want to attend college in the fall of 2015
