Kate McGeever, Executive Director, Delaware County Literacy Council
Participants will learn how to develop and manage a basic budget for an adult literacy program and review effective strategies for raising funds. Attendees of this training will be able to identify the elements of a budget, draw connections between mission and budgets, and identify the various audiences for budgets. By the end of this training, participants will have a mock budget and knowledge of how to test the strength of their budget through the use of ratios. Finally, this training will provide an overview of funding sources for adult literacy programs and an outline of the many fundraising strategies useful for adult education.
About Site Coordinator Series
